The facility will be used to provide homeless individuals with showers, laundry facilities and movement into permanent housing, as well as an array of other services.
Sokolowski said they take care of several dozen pets per year from the city of Puxico and hope to be able to expand that with a new facility once they get the rest of the funds.
Now that the holiday break is here, they are offering what’s called the Full Day Kids Club where kids have fun interacting with other students, play games, crafts and socializing.
