‘A Taste of Ireland’ arrives in Marion on June 17

MARION, Ill. (KFVS) - “A Taste of Ireland” is coming to the Marion Cultural & Civic Center.

The show is at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, June 17.

Doors open at 6:30 p.m.

Tickets range from $39.10 to $70.90.

According to the MCCC website, “A Taste of Ireland - The Irish Music & Dance Sensation” premiered Off-Broadway last season.

The show is now touring the U.S., with Marion, Ill. planned as the next stop.

The show is performed fully live by a cast of former World Irish Dance champions and performers from Lord of the Dance and Riverdance.

It takes audiences through the history of Ireland, with musical mashups, acapella tap battles and reimaginings of well-known songs like “Danny Boy” and “Wild Rover.”
