World Helicopter Day event happening at Cape airport

CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. (KFVS) - Fans of aviation are invited to the Cape Girardeau Regional Airport on August 16 to celebrate World Helicopter Day.

Cape Copters, LLC, will be hosting an event where guests can come see helicopters on display, talk with experienced pilots and mechanics, as well as take a ride on one of the helicopters.

The Pilots Club will be grilling and there will be games and door prizes.
