Crews survey storm damage around Kennett

KENNETT, Mo. (KFVS) - Fire crews were out surveying storm damage on Tuesday morning, May 4.

According to Fire Chief Paul Spain, they believe only one home had damage.

He said many trees were uprooted and branches and limbs were scattered around town.

A viewer sent us photos of damage at a duplex between Kennett and Holcomb, in the Friendship community.

Power outages were also reported into the morning throughout the Heartland.

Several areas also saw flash flooding.
