Pedestrian airlifted to hospital after being struck by vehicle in Stoddard County

STODDARD COUNTY, Mo. (KFVS) - A woman was airlifted to a St. Louis hospital after she was struck by a pickup truck in Stoddard County on Friday, June 19.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol’s crash report, a 19-year-old East Prairie, Mo. man was driving southbound on MO 25, two miles north of Advance.

MSHP said the pickup truck skidded off the right side of the road and struck a pedestrian, a 38-year-old Rolla, Mo. woman, just after 4 p.m.

The woman was airlifted to a St. Louis hospital for serious injuries.

The man was not injured.
