Teen flown to hospital after serious crash

PORTAGEVILLE, Mo. (KFVS) - A 16-year-old Portageville girl was hurt in a single-vehicle crash on Saturday morning, June 6.
The crash happened around 8:50 a.m. on MO 162 at King Avenue in Portageville.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the teen was driving west when her pickup truck went off the right side of the road, hit a culvert and flipped.
MSHP said the girl was flown to a Memphis, Tennessee, hospital with serious injuries.
Troopers report the teen was wearing a seat belt and the truck was totaled in the crash.
