John’s Pharmacy to take over Saint Francis Healthcare System’s retail pharmacy in Poplar Bluff
POPLAR BLUFF, Mo. (KFVS) - John’s Pharmacy announced it will take over ownership and operation of Saint Francis Healthcare System’s retail pharmacy in Poplar Bluff.
They say they will take over on January 18, 2026. The pharmacy will stay in its current location at 225 Physicians Park.
This announcement follows the news that Missouri Highlands Health Care will acquire the Saint Francis Poplar Bluff campus.

“Strong partnerships are essential during times of change,” said Karen White, Chief executive officer of Missouri Highlands Health Care, said in a news release. “As Missouri Highlands prepares to assume stewardship of the Poplar Bluff campus, we are committed to working alongside trusted community partners like John’s Pharmacy to ensure patients feel supported, informed, and well cared for throughout this transition.”
According to John’s Pharmacy, prescription records will be securely transferred, and no immediate action is required from patients.
