Mercy opens new clinics in Dexter, Mo.
DEXTER, Mo. (KFVS) - Mercy recently opened new clinics in Dexter for neurology, orthopedic and surgical care.
According to the health care system, Mercy Clinic Neurology-Stoddard is located inside Mercy Hospital Stoddard, 1200 North One Mile Road.
It’s led by Keandra Speakman, family nurse practitioner, and offers treatment for a range of things including migraines, neuropathy, seizures, multiple sclerosis and more.
“We’ve seen an increase in need in Stoddard County, so it’s great to work with our friends at Mercy Stoddard and get patients the great neurologic care they need without the hassle of making travel arrangements,” Speakman said.
You can call 573-331-7840 to make an appointment.
Mercy Clinic Orthopedics and Sports Medicine-Stoddard, also at Mercy Hospital Stoddard, is led by Dr. Michelle Tedrowe.
They treat issues such as fractures, sprains, strains and sports-related injuries.
“It’s exciting to bring our high-quality orthopedic care to Mercy Stoddard,” Dr. Tedrowe said. “We often see patients with long drive times. Opening a new clinic deeper into Southeast Missouri hopefully will mean patients spend less time on the road and more time at home to heal and regain their mobility.”

According to Mercy, Dr. Ray Silliman and his team will lead the new Mercy Clinic General Surgery-Stoddard, located in the Mercy Primary Care-Stoddard office, 1200 North One Mile Road.
At this new location, they say he’ll see patients for surgical consultations, post-op visits and follow-up care.
“Bringing high-quality, low-cost surgical care here is something we’re passionate about,” Dr. Silliman said. “We’re happy to be able to provide that care for our patients a little closer to home.”
You can call 573-519-4540 to make an appointment.
According to Mercy, all three will have office hours in Dexter one day per week.
