2 in custody after chase led to crash near Benton, Ill.

FRANKLIN COUNTY, Ill. (KFVS) - Multiple law enforcement agencies were on the scene of a crash after a chase on Interstate 57.

According to the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office, the crash happened near Forest Baptist Church Road, south of Benton, on Thursday, December 5.

The sheriff said one person was taken into custody and a second person was arrested after running from the scene.
