Asian Bistro in Carterville, Ill. announces closure

CARTERVILLE, Ill. (KFVS) - A local restaurant in Carterville, Illinois announced it will be closing its doors on Tuesday.

According to a post from the Asian Bistro Facebook page, the restaurant will be shutting down on August 13 after five years in business.

The owners said it was a very difficult and emotional decision but it is time to move on to the next life adventure.

They also thanked their staff, past and present, as well as everyone who has dined at Asian Bistro.

The restaurant will remain open tonight until 9 p.m., then will serve guests one final time from 4:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Aug. 13.
