2 arrested on several drug charges in TN

WEAKLEY COUNTY, TN (KFVS) - A man and woman are facing several charges after a warrant was executed by the Dresden, Tennessee Police Department.

According to Investigator Captain Randall McGowan, on Tuesday, May 14 officers from the police department searched a home at the 300 block of West North St.

At the residence, police said the recovered methamphetamine, marijuana, Hydrocodone pills, Valium polls, digital scales and a loaded 9 milimeter pistol.

Officials charged 38-year-old Daniel Thomas with possession of schedule two methamphetamine with intent to resale, possession of schedule two Hydrocodone pulls with intent to resale, possession of schedule four Valium pills with intent to resale, possession of marijuana with intent to resale, possession of a firearm in the commission of a dangerous felony and possession of a firearm by someone convicted of a ebony drug offense or a violent drug felony.

Officials charged 36-year-old jennifer Barner with possession of schedule two methamphetamine with intent to resale, possession of schedule two Hydrocodone pulls with intent to resale, possession of schedule four Valium pills with intent to resale, possession of marijuana with intent to resale.

Officials said two children who live in the home are in the process of being removed by the Department of Children’s Services.
