(KFVS) - Good morning, Heartland. We are starting the morning off quietly. The chance for scattered showers and a few storms are possibly by the afternoon. Some gusty winds and heavy downpours could occur with these scattered rain chances. High temperatures are forecasted in the low to mid 80s. Winds surge out of the south tomorrow, bringing hot, humid, and breezy conditions for Wednesday.

There is a possibility for another round of scattered showers and storms Thursday. An isolated severe storm with gusty winds and heavy downpours will remain possible. Friday and Saturday are trending cooler and less humid before a more unsettled pattern arrives Saturday evening into next week.
