Former Poplar Bluff Baseball star Misner called up to Big Leagues

TAMPA, Fl. (KFVS) - Former Poplar Bluff and Mizzou Baseball star Kameron Misner has been called up to the Big Leagues by the Tampa Bay Rays on Thursday, August 1.

The 26-year-old Misner got called up from the Rays Triple-A Affiliate the Durham Bulls.

Misner is an outfielder who batted .247 with 15 homers, 45 RBI, and 27 Stolen bases for Durham this season.

Tampa Bay is scheduled to play a three-game series at Busch Stadium next week against the Cardinals on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.
