VANDUSER, MO (KFVS) -

Scott County Sheriff Rick Walter says a Vanduser, Missouri woman was arrested Wednesday on burglary and possession of burglary tools charges.

Sheriff Walter says that deputies responded to 104 East Caroline, in Morley City Limits, for a reported burglary in progress.

Deputies were told the suspect had gotten in the home by opening a closed window and crawling through.

Officials arrived and found the suspect, Tawny Divietro, 29, of Vanduser, still inside the home. Deputies gave Divietro orders to come out, and she eventually complied.

She had knives, a flashlight, a screw driver, and other tools commonly used to commit burglaries, with her.

Divietro was arrested and transported to the Scott County jail pending the filing of formal charges by the Scott County Prosecuting Attorney.

Divietro remains in custody at the Scott County Jail. Bond was set by the court at $500 cash only.
