Woman arrested in Cape Girardeau for allegedly shoplifting perfume

CAPE GIRARDEAU, MO (KFVS) -

A woman has been arrested in Cape Girardeau for allegedly shoplifting from a department store.

Cape police responded to JCPenney on Wednesday, around 7:15 pm for a report of shoplifting.

Victoria Marie Holderbaugh, 20, was arrested.

Loss prevention personnel says Holderbaugh stole perfume from JCPenney and exited the store.

According to employees, Holderbaugh assaulted a loss prevention employee when contact was made with her on the parking lot.

Holderbaugh was charged with robbery and unlawful use of a weapon because a pair of brass knuckles were found in her backpack.

Her bond was set at $50,000.
