1 dead, 1 injured after ATV crash in Perry County, MO

PERRY COUNTY, MO (KFVS) - A California man died Sunday night in an ATV crash in Perry County, Missouri.
CPL. Devin Scholl, 24, from Camp Pendleton, Calif. was in a crash on County Road 444, west of Riverview Lane, just before 7:30 p.m.
According to the Highway Patrol, the ATV went off the road ejecting the driver and a passenger. Scholl died at the hospital.
The Highway Patrol says passenger Derek Hayes from New Madrid has serious injuries.
According to the funeral home, Scholl was a U.S. Marine trained as a motor transportation operator and served in Afghanistan. He was due to be discharged next month.
