(KFVS) - Showers and storms will flare up this evening and into Monday.
Thicker clouds will move from west to east as a warm front moves in. Some storms may be stronger tonight with temperatures in the upper 60s to low 70s.
Monday will see scattered showers and storms in the early morning with a short dry period in the day. There is a slight risk of strong to severe storms across the entire Heartland on Monday, especially in the afternoon and evening hours. The main impacts will likely be winds and hail.
A cold front will pass through into Tuesday bringing drier and cooler air to the Heartland next week. Temperatures will be in the low 80s and less humid.
