CARBONDALE, IL (KFVS) - According to Carbondale, Illinois police, on Friday August 17, around 2:20 a.m., an officer responded to gunfire in the area of North Wall Street at East Oak Street.
Officers learned from a resident in the 400 block of East Oak Street that their home had been hit by the gunfire.
During the course of the investigation, officers identified the suspect as Traeshonne D. Blythe, 25, of Carbondale, Ill.
Officers learned the incident began as an argument between Blythe and an acquaintance, who lives in the home. No one was injured.
Officers found and arrested Blythe at his nearby residence and charged him aggravated unlawful use of weapons, aggravated discharge of a firearm, and possession of a firearm by a felon.
Blythe was taken to the Jackson County Jail.
