Two burglary investigations lead to three arrests in Franklin County, Il.

FRANKLIN AND JACKSON COUNTY, IL (KFVS) - Three adults were arrested in Franklin County, Illinois on burglary charges in separate investigations.

On Saturday, Aug.11, Paul E. Ray, 35, and Rachel D. Ray, 32, both of Benton, Il., were arrested on residential burglary and felony theft charges.

Both are accused of burglarizing a residence in Orient, Il.

According to the Franklin County Sheriff's Office, some of the missing items taken from the residence has been recovered and more arrests are expected.

The investigation into the burglary is on-going.

In a separate investigation, deputies responded to a burglary call at the Route 149 Bar in Royalton, Il around 10:42 a.m. on Monday, Aug. 13. The bar had reportedly been broken into during the early morning hours along with an apparent vehicle theft a short distance from the bar.

According to the Franklin County Sheriff's Office, the investigation led to the arrest of Jason L. Stacy, 29, of Herrin, Il.

Stacy is charged with burglary and felony theft.

Investigators say most of the stolen property and the stolen car have been recovered.
