BENTON, IL (KFVS) - A Benton, Illinois man is facing drug-related charges after a traffic stop on Wednesday, August 15.

According to police. Bryce J. Sneddon, 25, was arrested for unlawful possession of a controlled substance.

Benton police made the traffic stop at the intersection of North McLeansboro and East Main Street. A K-9 alerted to the odor of narcotics in the vehicle, according to police.

Sneddon was taken to the Franklin County Jail.
