Wayne Co., MO sheriff's office warns of Medicare mail scam

GREENVILLE, MO (KFVS) - The Wayne County, Missouri Sheriff's Office said residents are getting letters saying Medicare is asking for DNA samples. The sheriff's office says this is a scam.

The letter is also asking for a social security number and credit card information.
The sheriff's office warns not to send any personal information.
