Cape Girardeau Police hosting car seat safety check

CAPE GIRARDEAU, MO (KFVS) - The Cape Girardeau Police Department will host a child passenger safety seat check on Thursday, Aug. 16.
The community can help train new Child Passenger Safety Technicians by bringing in vehicles for free car seat checks.
The technicians will be checking the seats from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Cape Girardeau Police Department at 2530 Maria Louise Lane.
There's no appointment necessary, but they ask to bring your car seat manual and vehicle manual with you.
