JACKSON, MO (KFVS) - The Jackson Police Department has received several reports about suspicious activity in City Park this past weekend.

Police investigated the report and found it not to be suspicious.

They say the man thought a woman was one of his friends and attempted to play a prank on her, then realized it wasn't his friend and apologized.

According to police, the man was told to leave City Park because his behavior was inappropriate.

If anyone feels uncomfortable or sees anything suspicious in the City of Jackson they are asked to contact the Jackson Police Department.
