City of Jackson announces Labor Day trash collection schedule

JACKSON, MO (KFVS) - Trash schedules in Jackson, Missouri have a small change coming over Labor Day.

On Monday, Sept. 3, Jackson's Sanitation Department will not be operating in observance of the holiday.

If your trash would normally be collected that day, it will be picked up on Tuesday, Sept. 4 instead.

The route on Tuesday remains the same according to city officials.

The Recycling Center will be closed Monday, Sept. 3 as well.
