One person killed, one injured in Massac Co., IL head-on collision

MASSAC COUNTY, IL (KFVS) - One person was killed in a crash on Sunday, Aug. 12 in Massac County.
The crash happened at 7:15 a.m. near US 45, 1 mile south of Joppa Road.
A 2002 Dodge pickup was traveling southbound on US 45 in the wrong lane and struck a 2017 Dodge pickup head-on which was traveling northbound.

The driver in the 2002 Dodge pickup was killed and the other driver was transported to an area hospital.
No names are being released at this time.
