Man accused of stealing from employer in Paducah, KY

PADUCAH, KY (KFVS) - According to Paducah police, a Calvert City, Kentucky man has been arrested in connection with thefts from his employer in Paducah.

Police was contacted on July 30 by the owner of Chase Motor Sports on Brown St. The owner told police he had learned that Joshua J. Croley, 37, an employee of the business for 9 years, had been stealing parts and selling them.

An audit is on-going to determine the total amount of the theft from the business.

A detective opened an investigation and interviewed Croley. He developed enough evidence to obtain a warrant charging Croley with theft by unlawful taking more than $500.

Croley was arrested at his home Tuesday night by Calvert City police and booked into Marshall County Jail.
