Franklin County officials search for vehicle in deadly hit-and-run

FRANKLIN COUNTY, IL (KFVS) - Officials are asking for the public's help identifying a vehicle they say was involved in a deadly hit and run.
The Franklin County Sheriff's Office officials said the incident happened early on Saturday, Aug. 4. on IL Route 37 between Benton and West Frankfort.

Investigators reported that evidence from the scene showed that the suspect vehicle may be a black Dodge Ram pickup truck, 2009 to 2015 model year.
The vehicle will have damage on the passenger side in the front especially to the headlight assembly.
