2 injured in semi crash in White Co., IL

WHITE COUNTY, IL (KFVS) - A Kentucky man and Illinois woman were injured in a crash in White County, Illinois at 3:17 p.m. on Monday, August 6.
According to a preliminary traffic crash investigation by the Illinois State Police, the driver of the Peterbilt truck with flatbed trailer was traveling southbound on US 45 around 1/2 mile North of Gossett Rd. in White County.

For unknown reasons the truck crossed the center line and went off the eastside of the roadway crashing into some trees.
The driver and passenger John Hanbrough, 37, of Morganfield, Kentucky and Stephanie Nation, 37, of Shawneetown, Illinois were transported by Life Flight to an area hospital.
ISP District 19 was assisted at the crash scene by White Co. and Transcare Ambulance Services, Life Flight, Omaha and Norris City Fire Departments, Rick's Towing, and IDOT.
