Graves Co., KY driver injured, ammo explodes in vehicle after crash

GRAVES COUNTY, KY (KFVS) - According to the Graves County, Kentucky Sheriff's Office, a crash near the Water Valley Community resulted in a man being injured.
It happened in the 7600 block of KY 2422 on August 6.

Investigators said Javier Garcia of Fulton, Ky. claims the steering went out of his vehicle and he was unable to control it before it hit a tree.
Garcia was not wearing a seatbelt and received non-life threatening injuries. Some passersby at the scene got Garcia out of the vehicle before authorities arrived.
A half a box of ammo and a rifle was destroyed as well as the vehicle as it caught fire. Garcia was taken to an area hospital for treatment.
