Humid and hot conditions will linger on into Monday where heat index values will be in the triple digits for some areas again.

Other than the heat, Monday will be mostly sunny during the morning with a chance of scattered showers and storms in the afternoon.

A front will move through next week Tuesday/Wednesday and that will bring much-needed showers and thunderstorms with it as well as cooler temperatures to end the week.
