MAYFIELD, KY (KFVS) - Graves County Chief Deputy Davant Ramage is reporting that deputies responded to a domestic violence call on Prittchett Road just south of Mayfield on Thursday, August 2.
The suspect was reported to have chains wrapped around his hands and the caller told authorities it appeared that he was intoxicated on some type of illegal substance.
When deputies arrived they observed Tyler Ellegood, 24, walking in the front yard. Investigators said Ellegood took a pill bottle out of his pocket and threw it on the ground behind a tree.
Ellegood also had in his possession two sets of chains and an electronic tazer device. Ellegood was arrested and placed in a cruiser.
While deputies were interviewing witnesses, they saw the vehicle pass by the house that had previously let Ellegood out at the house.
Deputies then stopped that vehicle on Cardinal Road.
Joseph Barley 36, of Mayfield, Ky. and Amber Anderson Owens, 32, of South Fulton, Tennessee were in the vehicle.
Owens had an outstanding felony arrest warrant. When deputies got her out of the vehicle, illegal narcotics were found. During a search of the vehicle, other narcotics were found along with methamphetamine and marijuana. Barley admitted that the pills and methamphetamine belonged to him.
All three were lodged in the Graves County Jail. The Sheriff's Office was assisted by the Mayfield Police Department.
