Padcuah, KY police recover stolen vehicle

PADUCAH, KY (KFVS) - A Paducah, Kentucky woman is facing charges after a stolen vehicle was found at a motel.

According to the McCracken County Sheriff's Office, Michelle Mayes, 30, was found inside a Super 8 Motel room on Hinkleville Road around 3:30 a.m. on August 2.
After a search warrant was performed, evidence inside the room indicated she had been in possession of the Chevrolet Cruze that was reported stolen from a home in Lone Oak, Ky.
Mayes was charged with a bench warrant for two counts of failure to appear in court and receiving stolen property over $10,000.
