(KFVS) - Clouds have moved into the Heartland, keeping out temperatures cooler today.
This will help reduce the risk of stronger storms from developing. Showers and storms are continuing to move to the east through the early evening. Strong to severe storms will mostly be in Missouri and Illinois. The major impact being gusty winds.
These storms will continue to weaken as they head east. Cloudy skies tonight with low temperatures in the mid to upper 60s.
Widespread showers and storms will be present Monday with scattered thunderstorms chances increasing into Tuesday.
High temperatures tomorrow will be in the upper 70s in our northern counties to the low 80s across the rest of the Heartland, due to the lack of sun and increased cloud cover.
Cooler weather will hang around heading into the beginning of next week. We will dry out and warm up near average near the end of next week.
