MOUND CITY, IL (KFVS) - According to the Mound City Mayor Allison Madison, a train derailed Sunday afternoon on July 22.

The train cars have been raised according to Mayor Madison.

Madison said the cars were empty and no one was hurt.

NTSB is investigating the incident.

It was a train headed to Archer Daniels Midland Company in Mounds City.
