Guns stolen in rash of vehicle burglaries in Farmington, MO
FARMINGTON, MO (KFVS) - Lock your vehicles!
That's the message from Farmington, Missouri police after several items have been stolen from vehicles in the past few weeks.
According to a Farmington Police Facebook post, there have been handguns stolen from unlocked vehicles which could aid in arming thieves.
Most of the thefts reportedly involved unlocked vehicles parked in the driveways of the victims.
Owners are advised not to leave guns or other items in plain view in their unattended vehicles.

Police say the thefts occurred during the night time hours, but they are urging everyone to lock up their vehicles even if it is for a short period of time.
