BRANSON, MO (KFVS) - A community comes together to hold a prayer vigil for the victims of the drownings at Table Rock Lake on July 20.
17 victims lost their lives after a duck boat disaster on the lake.
Pastor Barb Johnston lead the vigil and encouraged them to keep the victims and their families in their thoughts and prayers for a long time to come.
"Grief doesn't just happen for a few days and then it's done," said Pastor Barb Johnston. "It's a whole process. So I think it's really important that when this tragedy comes to mind to not just stop and talk about what happened, stop and pray because these families will need that for a long time."
All 17 victims have been identified at this time.
