According to the sheriff's office, on July 18, deputies began an investigation after learning that Victoria Turner had not returned a vehicle that she was test-driving.

A used car business in Reidland, Ky. told deputies that Turner had been allowed to test-drive a Dodge Durango for a short period of time and as the business began to close the woman still had not returned the vehicle.

Deputies tried to find the Dodge Durango and Turner during the overnight hours. Early Thursday, July 19 a deputy found the Dodge Durango on Kentucky Dam Road. Turner was found inside an apartment and was arrested.

While arresting Turner, deputies determined a television had been stolen from an apartment complex on Benton Road. The theft of the television and numerous other items had been reported to the McCracken County Sheriff's Department.

Detectives interviewed Turner after her arrest and then charged her with the theft of the television as well as several other items. Three more stolen items were found in Turner's apartment during the investigation.

Turner was charged with theft over $500 and receiving stolen property under $10,000.

Turner is a suspect in other recent criminal incidents and more charges are expected.
