City of Jackson managers participate in leadership training

JACKSON, MO (KFVS) - Recently two City of Jackson managers completed a Supervisory Leadership Certification by the Missouri Public Utility Alliance (MPUA).

Janet Sanders, the Building & Planning Manager, and Joan Evans, the Information Technology Director, both received a Certification of Supervisory Leadership from MPUA.

They were also recognized by their statewide peers at an MPUA board meeting, along with other graduates throughout the state.

The two City of Jackson staff members finished the MPUA's Supervisory Leadership Development Certification training for municipal utility staff.

The training includes 24 hours of work designed to develop core supervisory leadership skills in current and future leadership roles.

Certification coursework involves webinars, online courses, and three days of on-site training classes.
