KY Attorney General Beshear to visit Paducah high school

KENTUCKY (KFVS) - Kentucky Attorney General Andy Beshear will be in Paducah on Tuesday, July 10.

He will speak at Paducah Tilghman High School around noon.

Beshear announced on July 9 that he was running for Governor of Kentucky.

He also announced his running mate, Jacqueline Coleman, for lieutenant governor.

He announced he would be visiting certain areas in Kentucky, including Paducah.

On Tuesday, July 10, he would visit the following locations:

  • Wendell H. Ford Government Education Center in Owensboro, Ky. at 9:30 a.m.
  • Paducah Tilghman High School at 12:30 p.m.
  • Western Kentucky University, Cherry Hall, in Bowling Green, Ky. at 4 p.m.

On Monday, Beshear visited the Kentucky Center for African American Heritage, Dudley's on Short, Pike County Central High School and Highlands Museum & Discovery Center.

Beshear is the son of former, two-term Democratic governor Steve Beshear.
