ST. CHARLES, Ill. (AP) - A repair project will reduce traffic on Illinois 64 over the Fox River in St. Charles to one lane in each direction.

The Illinois Transportation department says work starts Monday and that motorists should expect delays.

The bridge deck and joints will be repaired. The project is expected to be completed this fall.

Parking on the bridge will be prohibited during the repair project.

St. Charles is west of Chicago.
