Man killed in Williamson County, IL motorcycle-vehicle crash identified

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, IL (KFVS) - The Williamson County Coroner Michael "Junior" Burke reports that 55-year-old Robert Rich, of Marion, Illinois was killed Sunday, July 8 when his motorcycle was hit head-on by another vehicle.
The crash happened on Cornith Blacktop around 2:55 p.m.
According to the Williamson County Sheriff's Department, the driver of an automobile was traveling east in the westbound lane.

Coroner Burke says Rich died at the scene.
The name of the driver of the vehicle has not been released.
The crash remains under investigation by the Williamson County Sheriff's Department and the Williamson County Coroner's Office.
