IL man killed when motorcycle struck a deer in Reynolds Co., MO

REYNOLDS COUNTY, MO (KFVS) - A deadly crash killed one person on July 4 in Reynolds County, Missouri.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Austin C. King, 22, of Smithton, Illinois, died when the motorcycle he was operating struck a deer in the roadway.

King traveled off the left side of the road and struck a guardrail according to officials.

The crash occurred in Reynolds County, on Missouri Highway 21 north of Ellington, MO.

Police said King was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash. Reynolds County Assistant Coroner Tom Stout pronounced King deceased.
