JACKSON COUNTY, IL (KFVS) - On Thursday, June 28 around 6:03 p.m. the Jackson County Sheriff's Office received a call reporting a vehicle rollover on Illinois Route 3 near Buttermilk Hill Road.
Deputies said the caller reported that the occupants of the vehicle were injured and still inside.
Investigation shows that a black 2001 Chevrolet Cavalier was driven by a 16-year-old headed north.

Officials said an unrestrained 15-year-old passenger was ejected from the vehicle during the rollover.
Both teens were taken to an area hospital for treatment then taken to a St. Louis hospital.
Deputies said the cause of the crash is being investigated by the sheriff's office. The Jackson County Ambulance Service and Ava Volunteer Fire Department assisted on the call.
