JEFFERSON CITY, MO (KFVS) - A Southeast Correctional Center recreation officer has been recognized for saving lives during a traffic crash.
After breaking a window, Dunn and some others who stopped removed a driver and two passengers from a vehicle. Dunn's wife performed CPR on an unresponsive passenger.
Dunn put water on the vehicles to prevent the gas tanks from igniting.
Two people died in the crash, but the Dept. of Corrections is honoring Dunn for his quick actions that helped save two lives.
