JACKSON COUNTY, IL (KFVS) - The Jackson County Sheriff's Office will be launching a Traffic Safety Campaign.

According to JCSO, deputies will be conducting saturation patrols throughout Jackson County, Ill. to encourage safe driving during the Independence Day Holiday.

More patrols aim to increase enforcement of Driving Under the Influence, Speeding, seat belt violations and distracted driving.

These patrols were made possible by a grant from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration and Illinois Department of  Transportation, Bureau of Safety Programs and Engineering.
