JEFFERSON CITY, MO (KFVS) - Missouri Gov. Mike Parson visited the Heartland on Tuesday, June 26.

Parson will sign House Bill 1288, which includes a tax credit for donations to maternity homes,  at the St. Vincent De Paul Food Pantry in Farmington. Then he will travel to Arcadia Valley Career Technology Center in Ironton. From there, he will visit Mission Missouri in Sikeston and then Agrium Advanced Technologies in Marston.

According to Parson's office, his travels will emphasize the General Assembly's accomplishments and focus on key priorities, including investing in infrastructure and workforce development, fully funding K-12 education, stabilizing budgets for higher education, and curbing opioid abuse.
