WAYNE COUNTY, MO (KFVS) - The Wayne County Sheriff's Department says a man was arrested after they found about a half-pound of marijuana in a cave.

According to the sheriff's department, they executed a search warrant at Rebel Cave in Silva, Mo. with the SEMO Drug Task Force and the Missouri State Highway Patrol. That's when they say they found the marijuana processed and packaged for sale.

Scott Roy Peterson, of Patterson, was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver. He was booked and released on a $25,000 bond.

Deputies say prior to the search warrant at the cave, on June 5 a search warrant was executed at Peterson's home and he was booked for possession of marijuana and released after 24 hours.
