Teen driver, 2 teen passengers involved in UTV crash in McCracken Co., KY
Stolen firearms recovered from vehicles spark reminder from officials

MCCRACKEN COUNTY, KY (KFVS) - Two juveniles were injured in a McCracken County, Kentucky crash on June 21.

The McCracken County Sheriff's Department received a call at 8:50 p.m. about a single UTV collision on Mckendree Church Road.

Deputies learned that the UTV was traveling north on Mckendree Church road when a 14-year-old driver lost control of the vehicle.

The juvenile driver told deputies the front end began to shake and then she lost control of the UTV, causing it to hit a ditch embankment. The UTV then flipped onto its side. Also inside the UTV was a 14-year-old passenger.  A third, 13-year-old passenger also was in the UTV according to deputies.

The two 14-year-olds were transported to area hospitals for non-incapacitating injuries.

Mckendree Church Road was shut down for about 30 minutes due to the collision according to deputies.

Mercy Regional and West McCracken Fire Department assisted at the scene.
