Paducah, Ky. woman arrest on meth charges in McCracken County, KY

MCCRACKEN COUNTY, KY (KFVS) - McCracken County Sheriff's deputies stopped a woman walking on Benton Road in Paducah, Ky at 2:13 a.m. on June 20.

According to MCSO, deputies did a welfare check on Cindy Mitchell, 46, of Paducah, Ky., who was walking on Benton Road in the dark. Mitchell gave the deputies a fake name and social security number. Deputies searched Mitchell's belongings and found methamphetamine and a smoking pipe in a bag.

Mitchell was arrest and taken to the McCracken County Jail.

On Wednesday, June 20, 2018, at approximately 2:13 a.m., deputies made contact with a female, who was later identified as Cindy M. Mitchell, 46, of Paducah.  Mitchell was walking along the edge of the roadway on Benton Road near Bridge Street.

Mitchell was charged with Possession Controlled Substance 1st Degree 1st Offense (Methamphetamine), Buying/Possessing drug paraphernalia and giving officers false identifying information.
