FRANKLIN COUNTY, IL (KFVS) - Two people were injured on Wednesday in Franklin County, Illinois after a driver failed to yield.
On December 14, at 4:38 p.m., deputies investigated a crash that happened on IL Rt. 37, just south of IL Rt. 154.
Officials say Charles G Crispin Jr., 50, of Ina, Ill., was traveling north on IL Rt. 37 and turned west into a business driveway into the path of Harley I. Bonsack, 18, of Ewing, who was traveling south on IL Rt. 37 in a pickup truck.
The impact of the crash caused Crispin to spin and hit a car that had been stopped in the business driveway, occupied by William L. Schulz Jr., 54, of Hazelwood, Mo., who was trying to turn onto IL Rt. 37.
Bonsack received major injuries and taken to an area hospital by EMS. Schulz received minor injuries and refused treatment.
Crispin was uninjured and ticketed for failure to yield right of way.
